We installed 15.0kW of new solar alongside a huge 36.2kWh Sigenergy battery setup. The roof gets plenty of subtropical sun to charge the batteries daily. They generate around 5,000 kWh annually to cover heavy household usage. Energex tariffs are not a problem anymore.
We secured over $6,000 in government rebates for this job. The system pays for itself in under six years. It is a big upfront investment but the long term return is absolutely worth it.
