The Story

This Petrie household will save over $123,880 on power. We installed a massive 45.2kWh battery and 13.3kW of solar. They now generate 176 percent of their energy needs. That is plenty of power for the summer aircon.

The owner was repairing a tiled roof. It was the perfect time to drop the old panels. We took the old gear down so the roofers could paint. Then we came back and fitted the new system. We secured over $9,750 in government rebates for the job.

The whole setup pays for itself in under 6 years. Producing 19,932 kWh a year means zero stress about Energex bills. It is a massive result for a standard residential block.

“The crew did a brilliant job and paid attention to all the little things. They even swapped out a bulky old light fitting that was in the way of the new gear. I highly recommend them.”

The client was repairing and repainting the tiled roof. We removed the old solar system to give the roofers clear access. Once the paint was dry we returned to install the new solar panels. We also fitted the new inverter, the big battery and a backup Gateway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to remove my solar panels to paint my roof?
Yes. Roofers cannot paint under panels. We can remove your old system before the painters arrive. Then we can reinstall it or upgrade your gear once the roof is finished.
Will a battery run my aircon during a blackout?
A large battery with a backup Gateway will keep your house running. This Petrie home has a massive 45.2kWh battery. That holds more than enough power to run multiple air conditioners off the grid.
How much are the government solar rebates in Queensland?
Rebates depend on the size of your system. For this setup we secured over $9,750 in government rebates. We handle all the paperwork for you to make the process easy.
